Considering I know for a fact that every active member here at least claims to be of school age, this is the thread to discuss the eternal prison for the eradication of childhood fun.

For instance (I'm not joking), I was assigned today to read and write a book report on War and Peace.

War = When two people see each other and realize that they're different from each other.

Peace = The magical land of a there's nothing freaking there!

Today I got 5 free books from my schools library.

Yes, yes it is. Story of human history.

Unfortunately, I've got to read all of Leo Tolstoy's rendition, all 1000+ pages of it, before March 21st or something like that.

Thats great. I have to read some novel about the American Civil War before the end of next week. Not much of a challenge, really.

No, not really. We were in class today, and the teacher anounced that I would be reading War and Peace, and the class applauded. Mainly because someone had to do it, and because no one thought that I was actually crazy enough to request it. Which I did.

In my class we aren't allowed to applaud. We have to snap our fingers, and if we can't do that we have to wave our hands around in the air and look like idiots.

I clap silently when the occasion is suitable.

I've got to read a regular sort of fiction book (Unwind) which is good because so far I love the book. The problem is is that we can only read our books in the English classroom because we're sharing the books with other classes. The book I got is being read be four people in total.

I clap as loud as I possibly can. Afterwards my hands turn red and hurt for around 10 minutes.

Hmm, that's why I clap silently and dignified.

I like to just fool around and make people laugh, while still maintaining my place as teachers pet in half of my classes.

I gravitate more towards pet though can at least communicate with the non-nerds.

There is not a single nerd in my class. It's terrible.

How did that happen?


Do you have just the one class?


Because if you don't then at least you should have nerds in other classes. Everyone needs at least one nerd friend.

Otherwise you have no hope in the future when you realize that instead of partying you should have been sucking up to nerds because they rule the world.

Sadly we're stuck with the same people in all of our classes, except French in which we are split into different groups depending on how well we speak the language. There are a few nerds in one of the other classes, but they think I'm an idiot. Probably because I'm smarter than them.
